I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I have 6 years of specializing in addiction services and 8 years of psychotherapy, as well as overlapping services to include working in private practice in counseling individuals, adolescents, and geriatric in the community to help reduce symptoms of mental health diagnoses. I have gained extensive knowledge in working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, borderline personality, self esteem, body image, trauma, stress management, emotional regulation, adjustment disorders, and schizophrenia.
By providing individual counseling services to a variety of populations I can provide a safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Utilizing an individualized approach rooted in Adlerian theories as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I focus on trust, respect, and collaboration in order to build a therapeutic relationship beneficial for challenging change. Trauma-informed care and Cognitive Processing Therapy can also be provided to explore patterns of unhealthy behaviors and irrational thoughts.
My goal as a counselor is to help my clients to be well. I want them to have the tools and confidence to move forward in their lives and not be held back by stress, anxiety, fear, or any other mental health stressors that we face in our lives.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas supervised by Heidi Johanson, LPC Supervisor, and I am also a Certified School Counselor. I have worked as a school counselor for five years and am passionate about working with teens and adults. I have had experience working with students struggling with mental, emotional, and behavioral issues. I have also worked with many teachers and parents struggling with stress and anxiety.
I work through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens, and use Solution-Focused Therapy and incorporate Mindfulness techniques in much of my work. I am also passionate about offering Parent Training to adults to help families improve functionality. I believe that a solid therapeutic foundation is built upon trust and collaboration, and will actively work with you to help achieve your therapy goals.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience treating depression, anxiety, life stressors, relationship conflict, mood disorders, and trauma. It is my goal to effectively utilize the supportive, compassionate, and unique relationship I have with each client to help them overcome struggles and setbacks, enabling them to live the life they have always imagined. I believe that regardless of my client’s current situation or emotional state, there is always hope!
I provide individual therapy for adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, symptoms resulting from trauma, relationship conflict, grief, and difficulty coping with life stressors. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is highly effective in treating PTSD and trauma related issues. Through the use of a variety of therapeutic techniques, I can help clients achieve their goals so they can experience wholeness in everyday life.
